Here are directions from Ho Chi Minh City to Ba Den Mountain. You can choose one of the following two routes:

 

  • The first route: National Highway 22A – Trang Bang – Provincial Road 782.
  • Second road: National Highway 22A – Trang Bang – Go Dau – National Highway 22B.

Ba Den mountain landscape complex has an area of about 24 km2, including 3 mountains forming: Heo Mountain, Phung Mountain and Ba Den Mountain.

How to go to?

 

The distance to Ba Den Mountain is divided into two parts: from the foot of the mountain pagoda and from the pagoda to the top of the mountain.

 

From the temple to the top of the mountain, there are only three ways to climb, and from the foot of the mountain to the temple, there are 3 ways, which are:

 

  • Take the cable car: taking the cable car is the fastest way to reach the top. You will be traveling on a 1,200m long cable car.
  • Walking: many tourists want to climb Ba Den Mountain so that they can both walk and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountain. The temple was built in the 18th century and has undergone many restorations. The most recent restoration and construction was in 1997. The pagoda still retains 2 green stone pillars carved in the time of To Tam Hoa (1919) in the front street, each column is 5.4m high and 0.45m in diameter. In addition, the typical beauty of Vietnamese temple architecture still exists at Ba Den Pagoda.
