MEKONG DELTA CRUISE FULL DAY

7.AM our tour guide will pick you up from centrally-located hotels in district 1 or welcome you at our office for My Tho city by air-conditioned transport (1.5 hours) Arrival in My Tho city, visit Vinh Trang pagoda then board the motorboat at a pier and cruising on the Mekong River (Tien river). Here, overlooking floating houses where fishes are farmed beneath the house (viewing from the motorboat). Continuing the journey on the river until reaching Thoi Son Islet. Passing through bee-keeping farm and enjoying honey tea, a typical Mekong house can be viewed here. Taking an electric car to reach a performance site where Vietnamese traditional music (Đàn Ca Tài Tử - A folk art form from Southern Vietnam accredited by UNESCO in 2013 as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity) can be heard while enjoying seasonal tropical fruit. Afterward, boarding a small hand-rowing boat and slowly cruising through a small creek with beautiful overhanging coconut trees. Lives from both sides of the creek can be observed. Visit Coconut candy workshop, you will learn coconut candy making process. Sample of candies can be tasted. Cruising to Phoenix island. Stop over at the local restaurant. Have lunch with local Vietnamese cuisine. After lunch, you get 30-45 minutes free to walk or do cycling around the village. Returning to bus and going back to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive in Ho Chi Minh city. Get dropped off at centrally-located hotels in HCMC. End of services!
