HA NOI – BAI DINH PAGODA – TRANG AN – HA LONG – YEN TU PAGODA (2 days 1 night)

Early this morning, depart this morning for the 2-hour drive that takes you through the rural scenery to Trang An Landscape Complex, which has just been inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List, proudly being Viet Nam’s first site to be acknowledged as a mixed natural and cultural heritage. Tour along the stream with a local sampan. The limestone, valleys, and rivers gather together, constituting a mysterious and amazing scene. Visit 11 caves with stalactites of all shapes and colors. Lunch is at a local restaurant.

The next stop is Bai Dinh Pagoda. It's famous for its great size and imposingness: Buddha relic from India, three bronze Tam The statues (50 tons, 12 meters in height/each), and the "collection" of 500 Arhat statues (carved by Ninh Binh stone). Then, leaving Ninh Binh for Ha Long Bay, a world heritage site was recognized by UNESCO in 1994. Dinner at a local restaurant. Free for visiting Ha Long night market or at leisure.
